Join a Team

Getting involved and being part of a team is an important part of the life of the church. Using our gifts and talents is essential in building a healthy church environment. At Micah there are many different ways to get involved. If you would like to join any of the teams below please contact us.

Office Administration Team

Working as a volunteer in this administrative role includes:
o Telephones
o Filing, sorting, copying
o Data entry
o Typing (MSWord)
o Spreadsheets (Excel)
o Graphic design
o Web design
o Layout (PowerPoint)
o Researching

Administration: The Church Team

Help to provide visitors and members with general information including working at the information desk.

Audio Visual Team

If you have a skill in sound engineering, lighting or video production, then this may be the team for you.

Catering Team

Serve cooked meals and snacks in a welcoming environment to visitors and members to encourage fellowship after services and events.

Children's Ministry

This is an opportunity to help children learn about Jesus and his love for them. Teachers, parent and helpers join together to build a foundation of good character in children, through Bible stories, drama, music, and age-appropriate Bible lessons.

Creative Arts Team

Use your God-given talents as a visual artist, actor or dancer to promote positive messages in unique, creative and inspiring ways.

Hospitality Team

To provide a warm and welcoming environment for resident ministers, guest ministers, delegates and special guests.

Prayer Team

This is an opportunity to get involved in prayer and intercession. If you have a heart for prayer, this could be the team for you.

Set Up and Breakdown Team

One of the most important teams at Micah! Why not volunteer to help prepare the church before and after our services and events.

Stewards Team

Perhaps the most visible of all ministry teams, the Stewards help to welcome and seat people, hand out information, handle crowd control and answer a multitude of questions. Could this be the team for you?

Worship Dancers

Do you have a passion and talent to dance in a creative and expressive way using flags or coordinated movements? If your answer is yes this could be the team for you.

Worship Singers & Musicians

Micah has a vibrant Worship Team. This team is ideal for anyone with a heart for worship who can sing or play an instrument to a high standard.

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry offers relevant programmes and events that bring young people (14-17yrs) into relationships with Christ and one another. Teach or assist during our services, create an event, be a builder of dreams.
